Ambubachi Mela
It is the mela (fair) held during the month of June every year at Kamakhya Temple on the occasion of Ambubachi festivals.


Elephant Festival
Celebrated every year at Kaziranga National Park in particular to popularize the wild life tourism in the state and also educating people about the wild life and its conservation.


Tea Festival
Tea is the life of Assam and it was first sowed on Assamese soil, so tea is a part of public life in Assam. Tea festival is held at Jorhat the Tea Capital of Assam every year in the month of January and February.


Bihu Utsav
Bihu is the harvest festival of Assamese it marks the beginning of the agricultural season of the state. This festival is marked with pomp and shows, colours and gaiety.
