The land of “AHOMS”,
Assam is state of pleasant contrasts and excitement. Each
and every part of the state has something celestial and amazing
diversity to offer. Journey through this magnificent land
is bound to stir up your mind and stimulate you to see more,
and learn more. To many the place is still a land of magic
and ethereal. Some call it a green paradise. As the most vibrant
part of the North Eastern States of India, Assam combines
so many varied passions and beauties that one has to take
a pause at least for its praise. People have always been drawn

The state is situated between 90-96 degree east longitude
and 24-28 degree north longitude. The state is pampered by
land border in all its side. Towards north and east lies the
kingdom of Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh. Nagaland, Manipur
& Mizoram guards the southern border of Assam. Meghalaya
lies in the south west frontier and West Bengal and Bangladesh
in the west.
