
West Bengal is bounded on the north by Bhutan and the state
of Sikkim, on the east by Bangladesh and the state of Assam,
on the south by the Bay of Bengal, on the southwest by the
state of Orissa, and on the west by Nepal and the state of
Bihar. Its capital, Calcutta, is one of the largest cities
in India.

and fauna. The state consists of all places possible places
to attract tourists. The topography ranges from high mountains
of the Eastern Himalayan range and the beaches in the southern
fringe.

the terracotta (burnt brick) becomes a part of the architecture

of the district of Birbhum, Bankura
and Nadia.

Shantiniketan is the home of cultural diversity
of the state.
The world famous bio-reserve,
Sunderbans , the home of Royal Bengal tiger
also forms a part of major attraction f the state. Kolkata
